Announcements

The SFPE Prairies Provinces Chapter is excited to announce our upcoming webinar, Sprinklers 101, taking place on March 19, 2026.
This session covers the essentials of fire sprinkler systems — how components work, how heads activate, common system types, and how sprinklers control fires before emergency responders arrive.
Led by Steve Bowers, a fire protection industry veteran with over a decade of experience across Canada, this webinar is open to professionals, students, regulators, and anyone curious about fire protection and life safety.
We hope to see you there!
CASA is excited to announce our Live Virtual Educational Seminars for 2026. The seminars will review a series of Fire Sprinkler / Fire Protection related subjects in accordance with the appropriate NFPA Standards, National Building Code & National Fire Code requirements. The Live Virtual seminars will help educate and offer best practices to the attendees on where to find the appropriate information in the referenced NFPA Standard, as well as how best to interpret and understand the intent of the many clauses found in the NFPA Standards and National Building Code & National Fire Code. The seminars will be presented in a virtual format via Microsoft Teams Video Conferencing, and all attendee’s will be provided with an attendee workbook and receive a certificate of attendance, which in many cases can be used and recognized for Continuing Education Units (CEU’s). We hope that you can join us this year!
